The birthplace of Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat, nestled between the banks of the Yonne and the hills of Burgundy at the gateway to the Ile de France, in Joigny, is much more than a spiritual center. It's a peaceful, friendly place where you're welcome to immerse yourself in the Word of God, find silence, receive loving guidance, attend inspiring courses, and pray together in a family atmosphere.

The center is held by a community of Religious of the Sacred Heart Of Jesus and a secular staff.

What we offer to young adults and students

"It is not knowing much, but realizing and relishing things internally that fills and satisfies the soul,’ says Ignatius of Loyola.

The 'Feeling God' journey is a retreat for 18-35 year-olds who wish to ‘feel and relish’ the presence of God in their lives. Built upon a specific pedagogy, it unfolds in three options (spiritual stops, introductory retreats to the Exercises, retreats of +5 days). Each person is free to join the one that best suits them according to their availability, expectations, and retreat experience.
